KSR at GES 2024

It was the second time the GES was hosted since its first inception in Cape Town in 2017, and is an international summit that aims to provide a “multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural platform, which provides the opportunity for delegates and speakers to exchange ideas about how best to produce, summarise and disseminate evidence to inform policy and practice, and using that evidence to improve people’s lives across the world” (https://www.globalevidencesummit.org/welcome-to-ges-2024/).

Robert thoroughly enjoyed networking with people from diverse backgrounds, and participated in the following sessions:

  • Co-facilitated the workshop “Systematic reviews of prognosis studies I: Introduction, design and protocol of systematic reviews of prognosis studies” on Wednesday 11 September
  • Co-chaired (alongside Jitka Klugarová, deputy head of the Methodological Centre of NIKEZ) the oral session “Strategies for Knowledge Translation and Implementation 6” on Friday 13 September
  • Co-authored a presentation (with the LATITUDES group) on “How to select the most appropriate validity assessment for your review: the LATITUDES Network”, presented on Friday 13 September

Oral presentation
Wolff, R, How to select the most appropriate validity assessment for your review: the LATITUDES Network. Presented at 2nd GES conference; 10-13 Sep 2024; Prague: Czech Republic.
