KSR is proud to have transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) in October 2022. Since its foundation in 2005, KSR has continuously produced excellent and trusted independent research to support healthcare decision-making. The EOT enables KSR to preserve this legacy cultivated by founder Jos Kleijnen, remain independent, and provide security for its employees.
As part of the move to the EOT, a new Board of Trustees was formed. The members of the Board of Trustees will change over the years. Currently, the Board includes an independent chair, the minority shareholder, an independent financial expert, the KSR Managing Director and a staff representative. KSR has also become a member of the Employee Ownership Association (EOA), which offers support and advice.
Proudly independent, together
Studies have shown employee-owned businesses to be highly resilient, more profitable, and more sustainable. The incentives presented to employees improve motivation and performance, while employment standards also tend to be higher. Because they directly benefit from the success of the business, employees are more committed to long term business goals, with a more entrepreneurial mindset.
KSR is proud to be an EOT, and committed to remain independent and provide security for its employees.
